Connecticut College offers four pre-Orientation programs for new students to cohorts of incoming students enabling them to make connections and gain familiarity with campus resources and opportunities. Genesis is for students who identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) and/or first-generation (a student whose parent(s) did not complete a four-year college or university degree). Odyssey is for international students (both those on student visas and dual US-citizens). Helix is for students with disabilities.

Science Leaders is a program for a cohort of first-year students who were selected to participate in the program during the Admissions process (eligible students will have received email communication directly from the Admissions office and the faculty program director, Prof. Marc Zimmer).

Below, you will find detailed information about each program.
