Everyone is singing it! Connecticut College's new Centennial Song is now on YouTube. A new video shows the College's Chamber Choir performing the new song for first time during the April 5 Founders Day celebration. The song was composed by Richard Schenk, a musician and composer in the dance department, and his wife, Ann Livingston Schenk M'01, a former instructor in the dance department, to celebrate the College's Centennial. The Choir performed at the Founders Day Tea and 100th Birthday Party under the director of Music Professor Paul Althouse. In the video, pictures from the celebration serve as a backdrop to the music. The Schenks won a campus-wide contest to compose the new song, which honors the College's 100-year history. The lyrics and sheet music are available on the College's Centennial website. - By Amy Martin
