It was a productive spring for the Camel sports teams.
Lacrosse
The men qualified for the NESCAC post-season for the fifth time in six years, losing close games to NCAA playoff teams Bates (16-14), Amherst (14-13 in 2 OT), and Wesleyan (9-8). Junior All-American faceoff specialist and Alex Calabro '17 earned All-NESCAC First Team honors.
The Women finished 0-10 in NESCAC. 3-2 in non-conference games. Tina Balzotti '17 named to IWLCA All-Region team (5th in goals in NESCAC).
Rowing
The women's varsity four won the silver medal at the NE Rowing Championships. The second varsity four took home a bronze medal.
The men's varsity four earned their first medal at the NE Rowing Championships in three years, winning the bronze medal.
Sailing
The coed sailing team won the Atlantic Coast Championship in the fall.
Tennis
6-10/1-6 in NESCAC. Beat Hamilton. Senior Daniel Maffa won at #2 singles to close out his NESCAC career.
8-8/1-6 in NESCAC. Beat Hamilton. Seniors Susanna Studwell and Adrienne Sieverding won singles matches to close their NESCAC careers.
Track and Field
The Men finished 11th place in NESCAC. Junior Scott Mason earned All-America honors (top 8 in nation) finishing 6th in the 3,000 meter steeplechase for retiring coach Jim Butler.
The Women finished 8th place in NESCAC. Koko Mensah '20 won the NESCAC championship in the Shot Put. Senior Bella Franz qualified for the 7th time for the NCAAs, combining track and cross country.
Water Polo
9-16/7-7 in CWPA D3, and fourth in the D3 Championship after winning four straight. Seniors Bryanna Harrity and Sarah Sovia led the way.
