As the 50th anniversary of Unity House approaches, we are excited to celebrate half a century of memories, achievements, and cherished connections that have made Unity House the special place it is today. In honor of this milestone, we have a year-long schedule of events, programs, and opportunities to give back in honor of Unity, all of which will commence during Fall Weekend 2023. The celebration will continue throughout the 2023-2024 calendar year, so please stay tuned for additional details on upcoming events.

Experience Unity House's transformative 50-year journey, catalyzing monumental community change. Explore its origin, pivotal milestones, and profound impact as a beacon of unity, diversity, and progress. Join us in celebrating a legacy that has shaped lives and empowered generations.

To be a part of the exhibit please submit your story, whether that be written, oral, or images by August 30th, 2023. You can submit your stories to alumni@conncoll.edu and include the oral history release form in your submission. If you require assistance to submit please call (860)439-2300.

Unity House Workshop: Join the H.E.R.D.
The H.E.R.D. (Helping Emphasize Real Dreams) BIPOC Mentorship program is a comprehensive program designed to bridge the gap between alumni and current students from marginalized communities. Learn more about this impactful program at a casual meet-and-greet with HERD mentors and mentees.

In honor of the 50th Anniversary of Unity House, you are invited to explore a space that has created a sense of family and belonging for our community for half a century. Mix and mingle with DIEI staff, faculty, and students. Light refreshments to be served! Sponsored by the Office of the Dean of Institutional Equity and Inclusion.
