Many computer science students choose to study away, and the option to study away is certainly open to all computer science majors.
During that semester or semesters, they can choose to take computer science courses. Sometimes these courses replace those in our curriculum; other times they will supplement them.
With careful planning, it is also possible to complete all required courses at Connecticut College, leaving the time spent away or abroad completely open for courses in other disciplines.
Recently, students have studied in New Zealand, Australia, Ecuador and Japan.
