Habitat for Humanity

A nonprofit, international organization, Habitat for Humanity is a nondenominational Christian housing organization welcoming all people to join them as they build simple, decent, affordable houses in partnership with those who lack adequate shelter. Since 1976, Habitat has built more than 50,000 houses with families throughout the United States and another 100,000+ houses in communities around the world.

Connecticut College students have formed a student chapter and work with both local and global Habitat projects. A student coordinator leads the chapter's work.
