Professor Pessin once appeared on the <i>Late Show</i><br><br>

A genius.


That’s what talk show host David Letterman called Professor Andrew Pessin long before he taught philosophy at Connecticut College.


While attending graduate school at Columbia University, Pessin moonlit for CBS’s Late Show With David Letterman and appeared in the recurring sketch, “The Strong Guy, The Fat Guy, The Genius,” answering questions ranging on topics from the periodic table to Jamestown, Va.
