Arboretum to host Mum and Pumpkin Sale

Make sure your home is festive for fall by stopping by the Connecticut College Arboretum's Mum and Pumpkin Sale on Friday, Sept. 28, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Arboretum will offer fresh and healthy pumpkins plus high-quality chrysanthemums in a wide range of glorious autumn colors not readily available in supermarkets. Mums are $9 and pumpkins are $3. All proceeds benefit the Arboretum, which provides opportunities for teaching, research, conservation, recreation and public education. Cash, checks, Visa and MasterCard will be accepted. The sale will take place on the front patio of the College Center at Crozier-Williams. (In the event of rain, the sale will move inside the building.) For more information, call the Arboretum office at 860-439-5060.
