What is CELS?
It's more than a career services office. Career Enhancing Life Skills is a four-year program through which students explore career options, assess interests and skills, learn to consider lifetime goals when planning coursework and activities, look for a career-related junior-year internship, and get help with a job search as seniors.

07/23/2013 - Nearly 80 percent of rising seniors are doing funded internships
They are at zoos and in hospitals, in high-rise office buildings in New York City and in dirt-floor huts in developing countries. This summer, 334 rising seniors – 76 percent of the class – are completing paid internships in nearly every sector and around the world.
11/16/2011 - Class of 1981 raises $540,000 to support funded internship program
The class raised $540,000 in commitments through the Annual Fund as a gift to the College in honor of its 30th reunion in 2011. The support is designated for funded internships which have been coordinated through the College's career office, better known as CELS, an acronym for Career Enhancing Life Skills.
