Teaching Support

Information Services provides a wide range of resources for teaching inside and outside of the classroom. Classrooms at Connecticut College are equipped with, or can be supplied with, computer projection, enabling faculty to use a range of technologies during class meetings. Outside of class time, students and faculty can use Moodle, the College's course management system, to enhance student learning and build on the classroom experience.

The College's libraries are equipped with computer technology and software to help students in their coursework, and are staffed with librarians and instructional technology specialists to provide guidance and assistance with research and technology.

IS also provides support for faculty teaching in the form of pedagogy and technology training and programs to support the innovative use of technology within the curriculum. These efforts are closely coordinated with the Joy Shechtman Mankoff Center for Teaching and Learning.
