Japanese Women
This exhibit features seventeen prints from the Shain Library and Black Collections of Japanese Prints. The prints date from the eighteenth to the beginning of the twentieth century and feature women from all walks of Japanese society. Some or from the genre of bijinga, or portraits of beautiful women, but most feature some facet of their daily lives.
