About Us

The Linda Lear Center for Special Collections & Archives is located on the second floor of the Shain Library on the campus of Connecticut College. The Lear Center is open to the public. While classes are in session, the Center hours are 9 a.m. - noon and 1-5 p.m.

During the summer of 2013, the Center will be open from 1 to 4 p.m., or by appointment. The Center will be closed on the following days:

• June 19
• June 22-24
• August 5-16

Please contact us in advance to be sure that the Center will be open during your visit.

Most Lear Center collections are held in closed stacks. To ensure that your materials are ready for you when you arrive, we strongly urge you to contact us in advance of your visit.
