Technology Help
Q: When I log into Moodle I don't see all my classes. What do I do?
Faculty have the option to use or not use Moodle for each class each semester. If your professor chooses not to use Moodle for a particular site, that site may not appear on your course list in Moodle. If you believe the course does have a Moodle site, but it is still not available to you on your Moodle course list, first check Self Service to ensure that you are properly registered for the course. If you continue to have problems, contact Diane Creede, in the Instructional Technology team.
Q: My password has expired. What do I do now?
Your network (email) password will expire every 180 days. Learn how to change or reset your network password.
Q: How do I send something to a library printer from my own computer?
See the "Student Printing in the Library" guidelines.
Q: Are there computers on campus I can use? Should I bring my own computer?
There are 80 computers available in Shain Library for student, faculty and staff use, as well as additional discipline-specific computer labs throughout campus.
Faculty and staff at the college should contact Ruth Seeley, (x2090).
Q: How do I borrow a laptop or other equipment?
Laptops are available to be checked out at the circulation desk of Shain Library, for in-library use.
Other technology equipment is available for borrowing through Media Services, located on the lower level of Shain Library, adjacent to the help desk. Please see the Media Services page for more details.
