NOTES

  • If the party is busy or does not answer, depress the Recall button to return to the original call.
  • One remaining party must be on campus.
  • Your present call is put on hold and the incoming call is put through to your line.
  • The other party is disconnected.
  • No 900 numbers may be dialed.
  • When send all calls is programmed your telephone will not ring.

MISCELLANEOUS TONES

(---) Dial tone. A continuous, steady tone.
(. . .---) Recall dial tone. Three short tones followed by a dial tone.
(. . .) Confirmation tone. Three short tones.
(-n-n-) Intercept tone. Dialing error made or feature denied.

MESSAGE WAITING LIGHT
This is a small red light located to the left of the dial pad. When lit, you should retrieve your messages from voice mail.

RECALL BUTTON
The Recall button is located to the right of the dial pad. It provides a timed switchhook flash required to access system features. When you receive recall dial tone, place your call or dial your feature immediately. If you do not begin dialing within 10 seconds, intercept tone will be returned.
