Department: Advancement - Major Gifts
CONNECTICUT COLLEGE, a highly selective private liberal arts college, located in the historic seaport of New London, seeks an experienced administrative assistant to support the Major Gifts and Planned Giving programs as a critical component of College Advancement.
Responsibilities include: travel arrangements; appointment scheduling; coordinate meetings and events; assist in preparing and distribution of materials, mass mailings and prospect events; provide technical assistance/support with the college’s enterprise system (Banner, Webfocus); data entry; other duties as assigned or necessary.
HS diploma with 2-4 years of office experience required. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to interact well with a variety of people from all aspects of the college and community; proficient in MS Word, Excel and Gmail. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to support special programs such as reunion/fall weekends; may include evenings and weekends on occasion.
