Jennifer Gorman regularly teaches PSY 100 (Introduction to Psychology) lecture and laboratories and PSY 202 (Research Methods). Her primary area of research is women’s reproductive health. She has published over a dozen journal articles and given more than 50 presentations with her colleagues and students. She has also served as an ad hoc reviewer for "Women’s Reproductive Health" and "Sex Roles: A Journal of Research."

Gorman is a member of the Association for Women in Psychology (AWP) and has served as the treasurer for the Society for Menstrual Cycle Research (SMCR). She was a recipient of the Esther R. Rome award from the Society for Menstrual Cycle Research in 1999.
