Antivirus Software
Faculty and staff machines already have Symantec Endpoint Protection installed and should not install any other anti-virus software on a college-issued computer.
Connecticut College encourages students to use anti-virus software on their personal computers.
- For students with computers running Microsoft Windows, Microsoft offers Microsoft Security Essentials, a fully functional anti-virus and anti-spyware client free of charge for non-commercial computers.
- For students with a Macintosh computer, the college suggests that students use Sophos.
