Guest Access to Unsecured Network
Approved by Senior Administrators, May 22, 2006
Policy
Participants in college conferences, non-college sponsored summer programs, and visitors to the college may use the Internet via unsecured wireless access in certain locations on campus.
Guests that stay in the college residence halls during the summer may also access the Internet through an unsecured wired connection in their residence hall rooms.
The college assumes no liability for the guest use of these open-unsecured access points.
Procedures
Guests may use these unsecured wireless access points and wired residence hall connections to connect to the Internet, or a guest’s virtual private network (VPN) should one be available.
