In today's society, we find that the majority of people want to report criminal activity or provide information to the police, but they are hesitant to do so because they don't want to get personally involved. With this in mind, the Campus Safety Department has established a message hotline, where someone can call and report criminal activity or information concerning a crime and remain anonymous. Just dial the hotline number, 860-439-5200, and follow the instructions. This hotline number does not replace the established police emergency number, "111" (for on-campus use).
