The day runs from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Welcome to Connecticut College! We have sought to offer you a relatively open, flexible schedule to allow you to build the type of visit you would like to have. Please select from the list of scheduled events below. There is no need to register first – feel free to head directly to your chosen event. Just be sure to swing by the Office of Admission at some point in the day to sign in. Thank you! We look forward to meeting you.

Take a student guided tour
Location: tour groups will depart from the Horizon House Admission Building (Grid D1 on map)

Student panelists discuss their academic experiences, residential life, study abroad,  internships, athletics and more 
Location: Ernst Common Room in the Blaustein Humanities Center (F2)

Group Information Session
Join a member of the Admission staff for an overview of what distinguishes Connecticut College’s approach to the liberal arts.
Location: Cummings Art Center, Evans Hall (D3)

12:30 p.m.

Making a Good Impression
Experts share their interviewing and essay-writing tips.
Location: Ernst Common Room in the Blaustein Humanities Center (F2)

Student-athlete panelists discuss their experiences competing as a Camel.
Location: Luce Field House, Athletic Center Hall of Fame Room (G5)

Lunch

Dine in the main dining hall ($8.50/person, cash only, everything from our local & regional salad bar to fresh baked goods).
Location: Harris Refectory (#1, Grid H2)

Choose from a number of take-out or grilled-to-order items available for purchase at the Oasis Snack Shop. 
Location: College Center at Crozier-Williams (#3, G2) Weather permitting, grab a bite to eat and find a sunny bench outside!

When you sign in at the Office of Admission, any of our student Admission Ambassadors will be happy to provide you with a number of great suggestions for lunch in downtown New London, Groton or Mystic.

Parking

Please park in the South Lot (B3). It is approximately an 8-minute walk from South Lot to the Admission Building. 

Bear in mind that demand for parking spaces will be greater than usual during our Spring Visit Day. If you find South Lot filled, two good alternatives are the North Lot, located behind “the Plex” (I2) or the Athletic Center parking lot (H5).
