Financial Aid for International Students
Each year Connecticut College is able to offer a select number of need-based scholarships for non-U.S. citizens that, depending on the level of financial need, may cover the full cost of tuition, room, board, books, supplies and health insurance. Competition for these scholarships is rigorous. We look for students who have shown outstanding academic ability, a high level of competence in English, and notable non-academic involvement. We do not offer merit scholarships.
The most important step in the financial aid process is for you to provide financial information about you and your family.
When you have been admitted to the College, an offer of financial aid will accompany your acceptance letter. Typically, this offer is in the form of a grant. The amount of the grant is dependent upon financial need.
At a minimum, all international students are expected to fund transportation costs and personal expenses.
As family financial circumstances change, you must re-apply for financial aid every year.
Once you review your offer of financial aid, you are encouraged to contact our staff with any questions. Due to delays in international mail, please e-mail or fax your inquiries.
