Connecticut College: Eight of the Best

Connecticut College is one of eight highly selective, nationally recognized residential colleges in a group known as "Eight of the Best."

Each spring and fall, the Deans of Admission of these "Eight of the Best" colleges invite you and your family to a free reception to be held at select cities in the United States. Each college has something distinctive to offer. As a group, they place great value on student-faculty interaction, small classes, and challenging curricula. These colleges send a high percentage of graduates on to graduate and professional schools, and count among their alumnae/i leaders in virtually every field.

The program includes presentations on admission, financial aid, and each of the eight colleges. There is also the opportunity to ask questions.

The following are the locations and dates and of the spring 2013 receptions:

Sacramento, CA - Saturday, May 18

San Fransisco, CA - Sunday, May 19

Berkeley, CA - Monday, May 20

Costa Mesa, CA - Tuesday, May 21

Portland, OR - Wednesday, May 22

Seattle, WA - Thursday, May 23
