The experiences and talents of international students enrich every aspect of campus life. Walk across the green or sit in the sun by the library and you'll often hear a conversation in a language other than English.
Students from 70 different countries exchange world views and plan and enjoy activities through ATLAS, the international students' club, and other clubs and events with an international focus. Most are foreign nationals; some are American citizens who've attended high school abroad; others hold dual citizenship or have always dreamed of studying in the United States.
Our international student adviser coordinates support services for international students and promotes international awareness and understanding on campus.
International students are invited to arrive before orientation for a special program called "Odyssey" that, among other things, gives them the opportunity to learn more about government regulations affecting F-1 visa holders; receive information on College regulations and standards of academic honesty in the U.S.; and discuss successful ways of transitioning and adjusting to American culture.
