Traveling Research and Immersion Program
The Traveling Research and Immersion Program (TRIP) is a short-term (1-3 weeks), course-related, faculty-led trip to either a domestic or international location. It's designed to give students a hands-on experience that has been crafted to complement the work of a specific course.
TRIP creates transforming opportunities for faculty and students by providing immersion experiences that can deepen the intellectual discussion upon their return to classroom and campus. Students must get approval from the instructor to take the course.
A TRIP can take place during the academic year either between semesters, at spring break, or during the summer immediately at the completion of the academic year.
